The Occupancy report was developed to help customers understand the percentage of total units that are occupied, vacant, or have the possibility of becoming vacant. In addition to overall numbers at the property level, you can analyze the numbers by floorplan to see which type of units are of more concern. It will allow you to create targeted marketing for those units to drive improved occupancy rates.

The below metrics are aggregated in the report at the property level and broken out further by the floorplan:

**Total Units**- this refers to the total number of units available for a given property. When expanded, it will show the total number of units by floor plan (for example: 1 bd + 1 ba, 2 bd + 1 ba, etc.).**Total Occupied**- refers to the total number of units occupied for a given property. When expanded, it will show the total number of units occupied by floor plan (for example: 1 bd + 1 ba, 2 bd + 1 ba, etc.).**% Occupied**- this is the ‘Total Occupied’ column divided by the ‘Total Units’ column.**% Vacant - this is the ‘Total’ vacant column that can be viewed when ‘% Vacant’ is expanded divided by the ‘Total Units’ column.****Rented - this refers to the total number of vacant units that are unavailable or already rented.****Unrented**- this refers to the total number of vacant units that are available for rent.**Total**- this is the sum of the ‘Rented’ and ‘Unrented’ columns that can be found when the % Vacant column is expanded.

**% Notice**- this is the ‘Total’ % Notice column that can be viewed when the ‘% Notice’ column is expanded divided by the ‘Total Units’ column.**Rented - this refers to the total number of units with a notice given that are unavailable or already rented.****Unrented**- this refers to the total number of units with a notice given that are available for rent.**Total**- this is the sum of the ‘Rented’ and ‘Unrented’ columns that can be found when the % Notice column is expanded.

**% Net-to-Rent (NTR)**- this is the ‘Total’ NTR column that can be viewed when the % NTR column is expanded divided by the ‘Total Units’ column.**Total**- this refers to the total number of units that are unrented and available (i.e., the total number of vacant unrented + the total number of units with given notice that are unrented).**Vs % Vac.**- this is the difference between the % NTR rate and the % Vacant rate.
