The Tour Type report was developed to help customers understand the volume and conversion rates of different tour types. With the growing adoption of video and self-guided tours in particular, this report will provide transparency into how each type of tour is performing and help you evaluate how you may need to adapt your touring options and approaches accordingly 😃

In the Tour Type report, you will see 5 unique tour types. Below is the definition of each:

  • Agent Guided - Appointment: This refers to a visit/tour conducted by an agent, in person, that resulted from a scheduled appointment.

  • Agent Guided - Walk-in: This refers to a visit/tour conducted by an agent, in person, that resulted from a walk-in (it was not scheduled in advance).

  • Self Guided - Appointment: This refers to a visit/tour that was self-guided by the prospect, in person, that resulted from a scheduled self-guided appointment.

  • Self Guided - Walk-in: This refers to a visit/tour that was self-guided by the prospect, in person, that was not scheduled in advance (including from third-party self guided touring partners).

  • Live Video - Appointment: This refers to a visit/tour conducted by an agent over live video (such as Zoom or Facetime) that resulted from a scheduled appointment. This does not include pre-record “virtual tours” such as Matterport.

The below metrics are aggregated in the report, grouped at either the property of tour type level:

  • Visits - This refers to the total number of visits/tours that took place in the selected time range. This helps you understand the total volume of each of the tour types. Note: this figure does not include appointments that were canceled or are scheduled to take place in the future.

  • Applications - This refers to the total number of applications that were later submitted by prospects that visited in the range.

  • Leases - This refers to the total number of leases that were later signed by prospects that visited in the range. Note that the leases may have been signed outside of the selected time range.

  • App / Visit - This is the ‘Applications’ column divided by the ‘Visits’ column. This is a measure of the application conversion rate of the property and/or tour type.

  • Lease / Visit - This is the ‘Leases’ column divided by the ‘Visits’ column. This is a measure of the lease conversion rate of the property and/or tour type.
